One of the critical steps in the development of a transportation plan is the identification of needed improvements to the transportation system, known as a Needs Plan. The Needs Plan can include the need to add lanes to existing roads and establishment of new public transportation services, as well as less expensive solutions that can include modification of existing roads and increased service on the existing public transportation system.
Upcoming meetings in April/May 2014 will include an opportunity to evaluate proposed improvements to the transportation system, and will also include the opportunity for participants to identify other needed improvements to be considered in the plan.
